Deaf NFL Player
Derrick Coleman is the man. He plays in the NFL, deaf! Now that’s what I call brave, Jack.
Derrick Coleman was born in LA, California on October 18, 1990. He became deaf at the age 3 years old.
Derrick Coleman was an undrafted agent for the Minnesota Vikings on April 28, 2012. But he was waived in August.
Coleman became a Seattle Seahawk in December of 2012.
Growing up he had always said he wanted to be a running back just like Marshawn Lynch. Now he’s leading Lynch to the end zone in the most important times to score.
Some people might ask, how does he know what the play is? He is able to read Russell Wilson’s lips in the huddle.
This guy is just amazing.
